Ep. 3.5 Joshua Becker on Simplifying with Families

Decluttering, simplifying, intentional living. All sounds like a great idea, right, but it can also seem daunting and overwhelming. Especially if you share a home with a partner and even more so with children.

Luckily I’ve got best-selling author Joshua Becker from Becoming Minimalist on the podcast to help give us some inspiration and step-by-step guidance on how to jump on the decluttering train this Spring.

Joshua is someone I’ve been a fan of for a while. He is the Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author of his most recent book The Minimalist Home and also The More of Less, Clutterfree with Kids and Simplify. He is also the co-creator of Simplify Media, the parent company of Simplify Magazine and Simple Money Magazine.

He is the founder and editor of Becoming Minimalist, a website dedicated to intentional living that was named by SUCCESS Magazine as one of the top ten personal development websites on the Internet.

So basically, Joshua is kind of a big deal, and I’m so excited to have him on to share his wisdom.

Take a listen as we talk about:

  • how to simplify as a family and how that can bond you together

  • what to do when simplifying gets hard and emotional

  • how decluttering can make space for what really matters like our faith and real connection with our loved ones

  • and more!
