a home for healing
14 1/2 8th St. S. in downtown Fargo
This studio serves as a safe space to come as you are, calm the chaos, and heal in a deep and authentic way. No matter your source of pain, it is my hope that here you find something to ease discomfort and empower you to take your healing home with you.
Studio 14 1/2 is the home of Naturally Randi Kay, but it is also where other wonderful practitioners do their healing work, as well. Their information will soon be listed on this page, so be sure to check back for updates.
Oh, that nagging hip pain. Or maybe your low back is firing up again for no apparent reason. And right when you think you’ve figured it out, it starts to creep back in.
Pains in the low back and hips are some of the most common areas of chronic pain, and they also tend to be some of the most mysterious ones. They don’t seem to go away no matter what you do, and they can keep you from enjoying and performing your daily tasks.
As a bodyworker, I am very familiar with helping my clients significantly decrease and even resolve their mysterious pains. But the healing really only sticks when you can tend to these problems areas on a regular basis. And that is where this series comes in.
Over our four weeks together, I will teach you all I know in keeping this area happy and healthy. You will not only learn the true source of this pain (hint: it has only a little to do with the low back and hips, actually!), but you will be equipped with the knowledge and the tools you need to take this healing into your life and enhance the treatments that you get from other professionals.
And you get to gain all of this in a safe, fun, and relaxing environment.

It's common to want to get 'better' at yoga. We are tempted to work harder, stretch further, and pull off that impressive posture. But the truth is, yoga isn't like other physical endeavors. And the point is to not get better, but to go deeper. Deepen your awareness and your relationship with all of who you are.
This four week series was created to help you take your yoga practice to a deeper level. Create groundedness and security in each posture. Unlock strength and flexibility that you didn't even know was there. Learn some new ways to your body some much needed healing.
We will cover some of the basics of yoga, so it is a nice series for all levels, but it is geared towards those that already have some familiarity with a physical practice.
Come back to the mat. No matter how long you've been away. There is a fresh, deeper experience waiting for you.
