Learn effective self care tools and practices geared to help therapists heal their own pain, prevent future burnout and injuries, and leave with tools they can bring to their practice and clients.
This course will be divided into two sections.
Topics of the first section include:
What is self care and why is it important
Develop a practice what you preach mentality
Common areas of discomfort and injury for Massage Therapists
A simple and gentle yoga practice that caters to the common aches of therapists
Exercises for body maintenance and proper body mechanics during the workday
Self Care practices for the home
Self reflective journaling activities to help each therapist get clear on their own ‘why’ for a self care practice and what it should consist of
Topics of the second section include:
The more you practice the more you have to offer your clients
Why offering self care to clients is vital
How to grow your business by offering self care resources
Self Care routines for common client issues
Closing journaling and meditation session for self reflection
